1958 Mercedes-Benz 300D Adenauer

A prominent New Jersey photographer and widow of a successful druggist bought this Mercedes-Benz 300d Adenauer on a trip to Europe. It has been in dry storage ever since the 70's.

Its been completely sorted and freshened with new paint.  All the systems have been checked or renewed.

The leveling and lubrication systems work fine. While the air conditioning is in need of some attention, there are no leaks in the exhaust, cooling or fuel systems. The fuel system and tank have been reconditioned, brake hoses replaced, brake cylinders rebuilt and new rear shocks installed. The chrome is in great original condition. The original leather has some torn seams but is very serviceable and easily refurbished but the Becker Mexico radio turns on but does not work. It is remarkably free of rust.

The removable headrests are stored in their original pouches and all the tools are present.

The engine starts easily, runs and a drives well and the automatic transmission shifts very smoothly.
