1979 MG Midget Mark IV
This car is equipped with
the 1493cc, four-cylinder,
pushrod, OHV engine, the
same engine and transmission
as the Triumph Spitfire.
It's capable of producing
66bhp making a top speed in
excess of 100mph easily
attainable.
This Midget's body work is
excellent. All the panels
are well aligned and gapped.
The sills, a critical part
of any Midget, are solid.
The new soft top and
upholstery are in great
shape. The floors are solid
due in part to a heavy
undercoat. Although the
engine bay has not been
detailed, it is clean and
all the running gear is in
fine condition.
This car has had a thorough
mechanical inspection and
maintenance has been done to
the brakes including a new
caliper, rear wheel
cylinders and a new exhaust
system.
